Boycott
The democratic right to protest and effect change through demonstrations and activism is firmly embedded in the history and culture of our institution and we are proud to support causes that impact our community directly or indirectly, even if the change sought is in the institution itself.
These photos differ from the protest collection as they depict (at least two or possibly more) boycotts occurring at the institution and about issues affecting our staff and students; the protest collection contains images related to political protest against the apartheid government.
We need your help
Please help us provide context to these images, we are eager to know who the people are, when the image was taken, where it was taken, and what the boycott was about. We are also interested in collecting any other information that may relate directly or indirectly to the image.
